It all began with a simple idea of improving an existing internet website that needed a support system that can handle a new wave clientele. Shopping Cart Elite was founded by Igor Soshkin and Nick Soshkin in January of 2007. Since 2002, Nick and Igor began developing a network known as MimoUSA, (

Currently MimoUSA supplies over 10,000 retailers (last recorded on 11/1/07) and expanded beyond from just being a drop ship network but also into a solutions provider. MimoUSA works first hand with its retailers to help them succeed online, providing an endless list of resources; everything from website building, data feeds, auction tools, teaching Search Engine Optimization, and so much more. Every retailer receives MimoUSA's customer service on a personal level. As a result of personal customer care, MimoUSA was able to face and learn of the problems that everyday retailers have come across in the past and present.

- The lack of computer knowledge to build their own website
- Lacking knowledge in web design, computer programming, marketing or all the above.
- Many would find cheap solutions through different hosting companies and spend a great amount of money trying to bring the website online. This often resulted in the retailer giving up or just quitting altogether.
- Some retailers would get lured into one of the many website schemes online, where the provider promised the retailer thousands of dollars in profits by going with their (provider's) solution. In conclusion the retailer would come to realize they have lost everything they spent on this solution and as you might expect, experienced a bad vibe of internet retailing.
- A great majority of retailers signed up with variety of different Shopping Cart Providers which couldn't support the MimoUSA 100,000 parts data feed. These Shopping Carts not only lacked in technology to properly categorize all the products. But the automotive industry demands a completely different type of technology which would not only support options for products, but also makes, models and years. To get even more advanced wheel and tire sizes were not even considered. In result the retailers would have no choice but to enter the products one by one which is theoretically possible, but highly impractical.
By mid 2006, Nick and Igor got fed up that all the new applicants for MimoUSA were constantly complaining about their websites to a point where MimoUSA phone lines were flooded daily with people trying to get their websites setup. They went as far as speaking with some of the retailer's personal programmers for hours on trying to figure out how to make the data feeds work well with their Shopping Cart. This was the point when Nick and Igor decided to standardize the MimoUSA data feed for a limited number of shopping carts that were able to partially support their data feed. In time, MimoUSA started offering services as cheap as $89, a onetime fee, to build and setup their retailer's website from scratch. MimoUSA was able to provide the data feed in XML format and offer setups for various Shopping Carts such as ProStores, oScommerce, X-Cart, etc.
As time past and experience grew, MimoUSA created over 200 websites in just a few months. However, success doesn't come without a price or new problems. MimoUSA now faced a new problem; none of the Shopping Carts mentioned previously were designed for Drop Shipping and offered poor or no backend support such as maintaining orders, backorders, accounting etc. In addition, the Shopping Carts could not be properly optimized for search engines and did not support attributes in the data feeds. The problems just ran down the list. After dealing with over hundreds of websites, MimoUSA realized that the website building solution had backfired. Now instead of retailers calling MimoUSA with problems for setting up the websites, they would be calling to complain how poor some of these Shopping Cart Tools are and how it was affecting their business.
Beginning Of Shopping Cart Elite
The system that MimoUSA and AutoAccessoryStore.com (retail website) was built on was ideal for the MimoUSA retailers. Nick and Igor have been designing this system since 2002 and it was designed precisely for the business model of an internet retailer and internet wholesaler. Nick and Igor vigorously tried to find a Shopping Cart Partner to work with instead of building a Shopping Cart from scratch, but there was simply none. Igor diligently searched through hundreds of Shopping Carts, one by one to see the features they offer and if they would be ideal for MimoUSA retailers. The majority of the Shopping Carts were missing key features that were mandatory for internet retailing. Some Shopping Carts had features that others didn't and some were so bad that Igor couldn't believe they are actually in business. Evidently there wasn't a single Shopping Cart which Igor looked at and said "this is it".
Nick and Igor expected to find something as advanced as the MimoUSA and AutoAccessoryStore.com system. To their surprise, considering that they began the construction of the system in 2002, they were unable to find anything that even came close.
This was when the decision was made to reverse engineer everything that was built so far, find features that were missing that could be helpful to MimoUSA and all other retailers. An idea that now became a desire to "create the ultimate Shopping Cart that will change the internet forever."

Investments
An initial investment of $4 million from investors commissioned the SCE project into full speed giving us the opportunity to hire developers, designers, rent a data center and purchase equipment and software to develop the Shopping Cart Elite project.
Design Stage Of Shopping Cart Elite
The Design Stage began, as what seemed like at the time a never ending, four month process. Every day Nick and Igor would spend about 5-6 hours on designing the table structure and business model for Shopping Cart Elite. After Four months, they realized Shopping Cart Elite has become one the biggest projects they have ever seen. The project's design sketch was printed out in FONT ARIAL 7 and hung stretched on a wall that totaled out to be 7 feet wide by 8 feet tall. The project had over 400 tables with lines going from one table to another. To make a clearer picture of what this structure looks like, picture drawing a Family tree where there are over 400 hundred branches that must be linked correctly to each other and over thousands of little twigs that must connect correctly to each specific branch.
