Who does the Hosting with SCE?
SCE is a closed source platform and must be hosted in the SCE database. We have addressed all the privacy & security concerns in our terms and conditions.
Can I store the database in-house instead of remotely?
Yes, we can license out the SCE software and install in-house by using a USB Dongle for licensing encryption. This solution is very pricey as you will require to host the servers in-house. Depending on the size of the company, the infrastructre may cost from $10,000 - $500,000
Can SCE provide custom development for my business?
We offer free enhancements and suggestions if it will help the whole SCE network. If you require uniqiue customer development, we can provide API as well as custom developers at an hourly rate.
What if SCE goes out of business or something critical happens? How will this affect my data and my business?
We understand that your company data is very important and you cannot afford any risks. In an exit strategy we ensure that all data will be exported in text format if you choose to abandon SCE. We also have an option to buy out the software with open source to be installed internally in-house without support.
I currently have my own accounting software can SCE support it?
We can export any data which will be importable to any accounting software including but not limited to Quickbooks.
I want to convert to SCE, but I have an existing customer database and product inventory database. How would SCE convert this information in a timely manner?
We can convert any type of data from any shopping cart platform or database into SCE. We recommended contacting us to explain the details of the conversion.
If I decide to run my business with SCE remotely, how will my information be secured?
SCE cares about the security of your data more then the owner. If the data was to ever comprised, we can be sued for invasion of privacy, damages, attorney fees, etc. as well as ruin our reputation. We have implemented many security factors to avoid your data to be comprised. We will be happy to tell all the secutiy factors if you contact us.
Will my data be backed-up incase of hardware failure?
All data is backed up every 15 minutes and may be retrieved immediately if necessary. We provide a cut fail over, guaranteeing 99.9% uptime of your website.
