Dedicated VoIP are provided by Dedicated VoIP companies which maintain the central PBX system that customers use to make phone calls. Small – Large size business use dedicated VoIP solutions. Dedicated VoIP is different from P2P VoIP because the bandwidth connection that is used to make the phone calls is not shared between multiple clients (users or computers). A P2P VoIP constantly uses 800Kb/s of bandwidth on the computer that has the P2P VoIP software installed as other peers are using the computer to route calls.
