Bing Finally Integrates Facebook

Microsofts investment in Facebook is finally paying off. If you ever logged into Facebook, Bing retrieves your browser cookie from your computer and automatically logs you in.

Then the Bing search results are totally different from the ones that show up when you are not signed in. This makes SEO for Bing extremely difficult. The only way to ensure your presence for universal and logged in users is if you rank in top 3 for the specific keyword.

Bing will show more local results in your area versus universal results that may be nationwide.

However now if your friends like any of your web pages on your website, not only do they gain ranking in the search results for those specific friend along with their friends (friends of friends), but they also show you which one of your friends like that page.

So for example say your friend Joe likes one of your product pages where you sell a K&N air intake. Joes friend Mike while browsing for a K&N intake on Bing will see your results and it will tell him, Joe liked this page / recommends this page.

Obviously you will value your friends opinion more than someone you dont know.

You also dont have to wait for people to like your pages, just actively friend people on Facebook that are your customers or potential customers and make sure you like your own web pages / products.
