HEALTHCARE ERP SYNC

Definitions

SCE: Shopping Cart Elite

ExternalERP: a client's third party external ERP system

Problem

  • ExternalERP and ecommerce system in the health care industry required a most advanced ecommerce solution for their clients. The requirement was to synchronize the product catalog between ExternalERP and SCE, specifically:
  • ExternalERP product catalog synchronization to SCE
  • ExternalERP customer username synchronization to SCE
  • Auto Login from ExternalERP to SCE
  • Auto Login from ExternalERP specific shopping cart basket to SCE shopping cart basket
  • ExternalERP tracking number status synchronization from SCE
  • ExternalERP new order synchronization from SCE
  • ExternalERP inventory synchronization from SCE
  • In addition the client required a data scrape from the supplier website to great the latest product catalog, synchronization of supplier inventory via FTP to SCE, and order fulfillment from SCE to Suppliers FTP

AMAZON INVENTORY SYNC

Problem

  • Apparel manufacturer has 80 SKUs that generates 1000s of products for marketplaces and requires inventory and marketplace synchronization to work. If you are selling 1000s of fake products that are made up of 80 real SKUs, you need to make sure your inventory is working properly
  • Sync FBA Inventory with Real Inventory

Resolution

  • This is a native feature built into Shopping Cart Elite that allows you to have a real SKU (visible or hidden on the website), and additionally create fake products that look like any other product on the website but is mapped to a real SKU in the backend. We also generate accommodate marketplace listing, and marketplace inventory synchronization for such products out of the box.

HOME LIGHTING CUSTOM ATTRIBUTES

Problem

Resolution

  • Shopping Cart Elite supports such functionality out of the box. We use product SKU specification field to map out all the variations values. Then we use our search filters to auto generate those variations values on the search results, as well as the product page. We then upload the data as a flat file with one dropdown and combine all possible variations. This allows you to easily update the data while making it compliant for inventory and marketplaces. To address the user interface on the website we turn on the search filters on the product page that allows the customer to sort the filters down the one remaining product SKU. Once one remaining product SKU is selected it is automatically chosen and the price is displayed. As a result, we can achieve the user interface the client wants on the marketplace, while also achieving inventory compliance, marketplace compliance and easy management of such product catalog.

AFFORDABLE ENTERPRISE ERP

Problem

  • The client is using Quickbooks that doesnt synchronize to his Shopping Cart. He is using UPS worldship that doesnt synchronize to his Shopping Cart. He has no warehouse management software, requires a POS system for his storefront. In addition some of the products had to be drop shipped automatically, inventory had to be updated between warehouse and dropshipper warehouse on the website, POS and marketplaces. Finally the client wanted a CRM system that would combine all the contacts from all the channels and website in one place. All of this had to be accomplished for under $1,000 per month.

  • Reseller is unable to afford an Enterprise ERP system but has outgrown his Shopping Cart and needs an effective but affordable full ecommerce solution to handle his complete business

Resolution

  • We decided to use Shipstation as centralized ERP to sync external sources such as multiple websites, eBay or Amazon orders. For warehouse management we used our partner Topshelf to update inventory back to the Shopping Cart Elite and marketplaces, Quickbooks for accounting, and Zing Checkout for POS. This type of setup might seem a bit unprofessional as a sales person from an enterprise ERP company might say, however the integration is SOLID, and it works as a single unified software. Assuming that you are a small business on a budget, and you do not require any complex enterprise ERP functionality you can benefit from this setup by having EXTREMELY FEATURE RICH tools from companies that specialize in their niches, and have it at an affordable price
  • The client was comparing a combination of Magento and Netsuite that claimed to have all of these features, of course they do not list the features they dont have that you will need in the next 5 years, (Marketplace sync, TEA Software for analytics as an example). After investigating their feature set it was subpar at best compared to the solution we put together. In addition the price was a lot cheaper because you and there was no need to develop anything, deployment was done in 30 days.

GROUPON MANAGEMENT

Problem

  • The client is using a completely manual excel sheet system to operate his one million dollar business. The client needed a complete ecommerce solution and kept under $500/mo

  • Manufacturer is selling on Groupon, Living Social, etc. and need to automate the order processing, tracking updates, and invoicing to these channels

Resolution

  • We decided to present to him a similar workflow as a previous case study above, except we would create a way to process his files into Shopping Cart Elite in bulk, and output a file formatted for his selling channels utilizing our automation product Easy Data Feed.
  • Since we had to modify our API to generate all open orders we charged a bigger setup fee than usual.

Problem

  • The client needed an easy way to manage the product data, have a functional website, ability to send quotes to customers, and gather the product catalog from multiple sources.
  • Client had 1 million products in his database and every shopping cart he tried would lag the whole website

Resolution

  • Shopping Cart Elite can support a multi million SKU catalog. We have benchmarked three million SKUs in production with no affect on performance. We estimate that it can virtually handle up to 10 million SKU in the system without affecting performance.

AMAZON FBA

Problem

  • The client sells on Amazon FBA and from his own warehouse. He wanted to combine Amazon FBA inventory with his own warehouse inventory for all of the listings he managed through the Website, eBay and Amazon. He wanted to keep everything in sync.

Resolution

  • The functionality is available out of the box and requires no customization. We simply had to get an Easy Data Feed to combine both inventory levels and push it back into Shopping Cart Elite
