Move DNS records to SCE

Description: Learn how to set your domain's NS records to let Shopping Cart Elite manage DNS.

Namecheap

Login to your Namecheap account (you can do it on this page https://www.namecheap.com/myaccount/).

Click Domain List item from the left side menu

Press Manage button next to your domain

Scroll down and find Nameservers section. Choose Custom DNS from the dropdown, enter new Nameservers (ask your contact person from Shopping Cart Elite to provide them to you) in appropriate gaps and hit Save.

GoDaddy

Login to your GoDaddy account (you can do it on this page https://www.godaddy.com/login).

Expand the Domains section on your products list and press Manage DNS button next to your domain

Scroll down and find Nameservers section. Click Change button and choose Custom from the dropdown, enter new Nameservers (ask your contact person from Shopping Cart Elite to provide them to you) in appropriate gaps and hit Save.

FatCow

Login to your FatCow DomainCentral panel (you can do it on this page http://www.fatcow.com/controlpanel/domaincentral/).

Click on your domain name link.

Scroll down to Technical Information section and hit Edit.

Enter new Nameservers (ask your contact person from Shopping Cart Elite to provide them to you) in appropriate gaps and hit Save.

iPage

Login to your iPage DomainCentral panel (you can do it on this page http://www.ipage.com/controlpanel/domaincentral/).

Click on your domain name link.

Scroll down to Technical Information section and hit Edit.

Enter new Nameservers (ask your contact person from Shopping Cart Elite to provide them to you) in appropriate gaps and hit Save.

BlueHost

Login to your BlueHost panel (you can do it on this page https://bluehost.com/cgi-bin/cplogin).

Click on Domains link.

Select your domain name and click Name Servers.

Choose Use Custom Nameservers.

Enter new Nameservers (ask your contact person from Shopping Cart Elite to provide them to you) in appropriate gaps and hit Save Nameserver Settings.

1and1

Login to your 1and1 control panel (you can do it on this page https://www.1and1.com/login).

Choose a package if you have more than one.

Click Manage Domains.

Click the arrow icon next to your domain name and hit Edit DNS Settings.

Select Other Nameservers and enter new Nameservers (ask your contact person from Shopping Cart Elite to provide them to you) in appropriate gaps and hit Save.

HostGator

Login to your HostGator portal (you can do it on this page https://portal.hostgator.com/login).

Click on Manage Domains link.

Select your domain name.

Go to Name Servers section on the right side menu.

Enter new Nameservers (ask your contact person from Shopping Cart Elite to provide them to you) in appropriate gaps and hit Save Nameservers.

Name.com

Login to your name.com account (you can do it on this page https://www.name.com/) and click My Account.
Click My Domains on the left and choose your domain name.
Go to Name Servers, clear all and enter new Nameservers (ask your contact person from Shopping Cart Elite to provide them to you) in appropriate gaps and hit Apply changes.

Register.com

Login to your Register.com account (you can do it on this page http://register.com/myaccount) and click Your Account.

Choose your domain name and scroll down to the domain name system servers (DNS server) section.

Enter new DNS Nameservers (ask your contact person from Shopping Cart Elite to provide them to you) in appropriate gaps and hit Continue.

DreamHost

Login to your DreamHost panel (you can do it on this page https://panel.dreamhost.com/).

Go to Panel > Domains > Manage Domains.

Find your domain and click DNS link next to it.

Scroll down to Change nameservers section and enter new Nameservers (ask your contact person from Shopping Cart Elite to provide them to you) in appropriate gaps and hit Save these nameservers.

Domain.com

Login to your Domain.com DomainCentral panel (you can do it on this page http://www.domain.com/controlpanel/domaincentral/).

Click on your domain name link and click Nameservers.

Choose Use different name servers and enter new Nameservers (ask your contact person from Shopping Cart Elite to provide them to you) in appropriate gaps and hit Save.
